These designs have been engraved in our studio, at our Farm in the Peak District.
Made from Birch Ply which gives it a warm tone.
Approx 96mm wide, this can vary a millimetre either side. If you purchase more than one, we will make sure they match in size.
We reuse packaging and use recycled packing tape where possible.
*A little bit of history …
There were famous couples in norse history and mythology.
The story of Ragnar and Lagertha from Norse sagas, particularly the “Saga of the Volsungs” and the “Saga of Ragnar Lothbrok,” is filled with legendary tales and adventures.
According to legend, Ragnar first encountered Lagertha when he was raiding in Norway. She was defending a fortress, and Ragnar was immediately struck by her bravery and beauty. He fell in love with her and proposed marriage.
The stories of Ragnar and Lagertha are woven into the broader tapestry of Norse mythology and history. While the sagas provide a glimpse into their legendary lives, the lines between fact and fiction are often blurred in these ancient accounts, and their stories are as much a part of Viking mythology as they are historical records.
